My name is Ketsya
Manuella Amboise. I attended the
University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy. I was
born on the small Caribbean island of Haiti. My
parents Yves and Margarette Amboise raised me in my
hometown of Stamford Connecticut.
At an early age my
parents instilled in me a strong sense of faith, service
to my community and love for education. I continue
to strive for these attributes. What I am most proud
of is teaching Chemistry for the Upward Bound program.
The Upward Bond Program is designed to recruit inner city
youth, and enhance their chances of going to a four-year
institution of higher education by providing them with the
proper academic resources that will help them succeed.
I believe that pharmacist for Africa
provides an environment where pharmacists can gain confidence
working with other pharmacy professionals, as well as
develop networking, and leadership skills that will
prepare our members to work in underserved communities and
promote the profession of pharmacy. |
