My name is Esther Onyoni. I was born and grew up in Kisii,
Kenya. After high school in 1997, I came to the United
States and went on to college at University of North
Carolina at Charlotte.
I got my undergraduate degree in Chemistry in 2002. I then
joined the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
where I’m currently a 4th year Pharmacy
student. At Chapel Hill, I was a member and the webmaster
in the Student National pharmaceutical Association and a
member of CAPS.
Once introduced to the Pharmacists for Africa
organization, I knew I had found the organization that I
truly belong in. I am the representative of the women’s
health education center in the Tafarki Foundation Health
Resource Center. I am also the representative of the East
African region which I’m glad to serve. |
